The Flu-Stop story began in 2003, when a group of homeopathy loving individuals sat around a pot of tea and a very delicious chocolate cake.

Back then, fears about SARS and the "bird flu" were rife. Newspapers and other sections of the media carried daily stories on what would happen if an epidemic occurred again. People were starting to panic.

As we munched on our cake that day, we talked about how effective homeopathy had been during the great flu pandemic of 1918. Maybe it was the chocolate, maybe not; but somebody suggested that as homeopathy was so good, we should find a simple way of getting it into the hands of as many people as possible, in case the same thing happened again. Flu-Stop was born.

Flu-Stop is a homeopathic complex that contains a combination of remedies which homeopaths have used for centuries to either prevent or treat the flu (yes, that's right -homeopathy can even protect against some types of infectious disease). The complex contains seven different remedies, including the ones used with such success during that 1918 pandemic. It can be taken by people of all ages, even the pregnant, and will not interact with any other prescribed medication.

Back in those early days, free Flu-Stops! were given to all who attended our homeopathy workshops or who had an appointment with us during the winter months - and we are pleased to say this is something that still happens today! Though it may sound corny, we really get the warm fuzzies doing this.

We also subsidised Flu-Stop prices to ridiculous levels over the winter months back then, so those who were already using it could easily send it on to family and friends - again, something we continue to do.

As you can imagine, both of these decisions were incredibly popular and, though it wasn't our motive for doing them, year-round sales increased dramatically. As people tried the product and word spread about how well it worked, other people appeared out of nowhere wanting to buy it. Flu-Stop quickly became our #1 best seller - both in and out of season.

Since that tea-and-cake conversation all those years ago, we have given away and sold thousands upon thousands of bottles of Flu-Stop. And, at the beginning of each flu season, we still substantially drop the Flu-Stop price so as many people as possible can benefit. We like to think we have saved a great deal of winter misery by doing so - and it is something we hope to do for many more years to come.
