Homeopathy and autism: reviewing the old FAQ
The old FAQ presented remedy selection and improvement forecasts as treatment advice.
What this page originally claimed
The FAQ attributed changes in communication, behaviour and physical symptoms to individual remedies. It also suggested that some children would lose their diagnosis. Those forecasts were not supported by a comparison group or a method that could separate the remedy from other influences. A prescriber's confidence and a family's gratitude do not supply that missing evidence.
How the claim should be read
These public pages now provide editorial context instead of an autism remedy protocol. A personal account may be meaningful to the family while still leaving causation unresolved. Selecting a remedy from someone else's symptoms, copying a dose, or interpreting worsening as a good response is not a safe way to assess a child's needs.
Current support and vaccine information
Use Healthdirect's autism information for assessment and support options. The Australian Government vaccine safety guidance does not support a causal link between vaccination and autism. Discuss developmental concerns with the child's usual healthcare team; do not change prescribed medicines using an archive story.
Editorial correction: 1 October 2026. The earlier treatment language has been replaced; the original URL remains available so old citations reach this correction. Read the corrected autism collection or report a specific error.
