Helix Tosta Survey Results

About this survey

We conducted this survey to gather feedback from gardeners who had purchased Helix tosta, a homeopathic remedy traditionally used as a snail deterrent in gardens. Fifty people responded, representing a small proportion of overall purchasers. When we sent a reminder to people who hadn't yet completed the survey, many told us they simply hadn't had time to test the remedy in their gardens. A few noted this on the survey itself.

What the results showed

Of those who did respond, 68.1% rated the remedy as excellent or good. Only 11.4% said its performance was poor. Some in that group chose 'poor' because they could still see snails in the garden, even though treated plants weren't being eaten. This is worth noting because Helix tosta is traditionally prepared and used as a deterrent rather than a killer, the aim is to discourage snails from feeding on treated plants, not to eliminate them from the garden entirely. You can read more about how the remedy is traditionally understood to work on the Helix tosta questions and answers page.

Reading the additional comments

Respondents added their own observations and experiences to each question. You can read these by clicking the 'show replies' link below each table in the full results. Be aware that only ten responses display in each window at a time, so you'll need to use the scroll bar below the table to see other comments.

A note of thanks

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete this survey. Your feedback gives other gardeners a clearer picture of how Helix tosta has been used and what results people have observed. This type of shared experience helps others make informed decisions about whether a remedy might suit their own situation.

**AI tells identified:** - "A note of thanks" heading is slightly generic - "helps others make informed decisions" is vague corporate language - Structure is too symmetrical **Final HTML:**
